                    <title>QUALITY ASSURANCE /QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER</title>

                    <description>Central Asia development Group, a leader organization in infrastructure projects in Afghanistan seeks a QA/QC Manager.
Key Areas of responsibility:
The role will encompass but not be limited to the following:
1.	Inspecting and report on completed projects. 
2.	Accept or reject completed stages / works.
3.	Review of complete engineering documents.
4.	Vetting of subcontractor/supplier quality control plans and inspection and test plans where required and request any amendments required.
5.	Maintenance and ownership of the  Quality files and review at regular intervals to ensure compliance including Project Quality Plans 
6.	Review and Auditing of these plans at predetermined intervals to ensure compliance with relevant contract specifications.
7.	Requesting/Vetting of test certificates, pressure test records, operation and maintenance manuals, certificates of conformity etc where required and in line with contract requirements.
8.	Undertaking of on site and subcontractor QA audits as and when required.

                    <title>Civil Engineer - Forestry</title>

                    <description>Our public sector client is looking for a Civil Engineer for a 3 year Fixed Term Appointment. Extension of the contract or conversion to permanency is possible but not guaranteed.

You will provide Forestry Civil Engineering services to Forest Enterprise England and other external bodies. This role is primarily responsible for building and maintaining access infrastructure (roads and bridges) but more recently has been heavily involved in the planning and construction of large recreational projects.

You'll assist in the management of Civil Engineering works within the Forest Estate in the North Yorkshire Moors and Sherwood &amp; Lincolnshire Forest Districts.

You’ll hold an ONC, or equivalent, in Civil Engineering, or have proven experience
in an appropriate role. A knowledge of surveying, construction and contract management with an appreciation of the techniques necessary for incorporating these skills sensitively into a rural environment, are also required. The ability to use
Computer Aided Design based packages (Autocad LT etc) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is desirable, although training can be given.

From time to time this position may involve travel around the UK and Europe. 

Full on site practical training will be provided.  The applicant will also be required to work in close co-operation with their companies geotechinical consultants both in the UK and Abroad.
