FIELD MECHANICAL ENGINEER – SAUDI ARABIA – DIRECT HIRE
We are instructed to only submit to our Client candidates whose qualifications and experience match client’s specification. Due to Saudi Arabian visa requirements, passports must be ‘Western’, e.g. USA, EU, Australasia, Japan, and applicants cannot be over 60 years old.
Our Client, Major Civil/Building design and construction contractor is seeking a Field Mechanical Engineer for their project in Saudi Arabia.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
• College/University Degree in Mechanical Engineering with construction experience.
• Must have management experience in Building/Site installation.
• Must be familiar with Air Handlers, Exhaust Fans, Chillers, Split unit, Sanitary System, Potable Hot & Cold Water System, Storm Water System, Fire Suppression System & BMS System.
• Must be able to Commission all HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Suppression Systems.
• Also, be familiar with International codes & safety Standards.
• Should have basic working knowledge or Microsoft Word and Excel
JOB SCOPE:
• Monitor contractor Quality Control Program.
• This includes site inspection for compliance with contract documents, approved submittals and mechanical codes.
• Maintain project safety awareness and enforce company safety policy.
• Facilitate coordination of contractor's work with third parties, i.e., SEC, MARAFIQ or other public agencies.
• Review and respond to contractors technical queries and coordinate with Engineering Department on technical issues.
• Supervise quantity take-offs.
• Review contractor’s monthly invoices.
• Review O&M manuals. Monitor as-builts.
• Prepare daily reports on each contract.
• Evaluate construction material testing results. Provide technical support to the preparation of Field Change Requests and Change Orders.
• Participate in construction progress meetings. Participate in final inspection and prepare punch lists.
• Review engineering design packages for constructability issues and lessons learned.
