Job Description : |
We are looking to recruit an Engineering Manager with experience of design and construction of major utility power plant to become part of the most exciting power project to be undertaken in South Africa for more than 20 years:
The Medupi Project. As a joint project team with our client, we will be supervising the building the largest coal-fired super critical power station in the world, comprising 6 units of 800MW(e) each. This complex project is currently the largest construction project taking place in the Southern hemisphere.
Initially based in the project team in Johannesburg, you will act as a liaison manager between PB and the client’s engineering department to anticipate and identify requirements for support and expertise to assure the timely completion and integrity of this large scale complex project within budget to the specified quality.
Specific tasks will include, but not be limited to:
Establish and develop excellent working relationships with the engineering department management.
Establish and develop excellent working relationships with the engineering department discipline teams.
Facilitate the provision of the required support through PB to the client’s engineering department.
