| Structural Cad Technician / Designer – Opportunity in Timber Frame
Nr Newport South Wales
(within easy travel of Cardiff or Bristol)

Our client is a leading edge timber frame manufacturer with an exiting new opportunity. They are seeking to attract a skilled Technician / Draughtsman (m/f) / Designer, with several years building structures design / draughting experience.
The role:
 Use of Autocad to generate detailed 3D design drawings and structural information.
 Use of HSB Soft CAD and Alpine truss software systems
 Working on timber frame residential, commercial, and industrial building projects.
 Proactive liaison with design teams, surveyors and specifiers on technical issues
We are seeking experienced candidates with real enthusiasm for timber frame and a desire to develop your skills. You will ideally be qualified to HND level or similar, and from an engineering or architectural background. Experience in timber frame and truss design would be advantageous.
