Our Client is an integrated, multi-specialist consultancy offering a broad range of engineering, transport and environmental services for sustainable development, regeneration and infrastructure projects.
Due to an increase in workload in the German office a great opportunity has arisen for a Building Structures Engineer, who is keen to further develop their career working with reconstruction and renovation building projects, to join the team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of project coordination and client liaison, providing assistance and technical advice to the client as required and delivering excellent customer satisfaction at all times.
This is a perfect opportunity for the person who relishes the challenge of helping to build a business whilst benefiting from the full support of a well established International Organisation.
To be successful you will need to be educated to degree level in Civil or Structural Engineering, with preferably building or land development related experience and knowledge of German building standards and contractual law. Proven experience of report writing and coordinating projects is important. Knowledge of AutoCAD and a postgraduate diploma is desirable but not essential.
Excellent written and spoken language skills in German and English are essential.
You will need to possess the ability to be flexible and adaptable and demonstrate a client focused approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Some experience of managing your own workload and having worked independently will be an advantage.
