McNicholas are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manage to join our team working on the prestigious Virgin Media contract operating across the South West of England.

This is an operational Contracts Manager role, which has responsibility for managing Area Managers, Team Managers and Installation Technicians, ensuring that all work is completed safely and within a timely and professional manner, hitting SLA/LTO or exceeding stringent service level agreements.

Main Responsibilities of the Contracts Manager:

* Provide leadership, support & development to all team members within your region. Ensure all team members within your region have monthly 121s. Ensuring all performance data is visible & updated as new KPI; NPS & Newsletter are made available via our Cool Walls.
* Deliver an “on target” KPI performance for McNicholas and client
* Region to be managed and measured against McNicholas SOP highlighting both good practice and addressing and fixing and areas of failure
* Lead by example driving a field support ethos where our management teams are field based supporting our people to meet our client’s needs
* Responsible for developing/building relationships with client and other parties during the course of the contract period.
* Attend & chair all required external and internal meetings.
* Preparation and submission of reports as may be required on a regular or ad hoc basis
* Ensure that the correct Operational personnel are deployed as necessary.
* Ensure compliance at workforce level with the McNicholas Safety Management System, Contract Specification, and Codes of Practice.
* Ensure full compliance with NRSWA Regulations. Focus on improving performance in Health, Safety & Environment
* Maintain an up to date understanding of technical, contractual, commercial and financial requirements of the Contract.
* Operate in a manner that ensures you assist the team in hitting its targets within the parameters of the agreed service level agreement and KPIs, with focus on the Customer, resource/workload requirements and the resolution of escalated complaints in a timely manner.
* Working with your fellow Contract Managers ensure the overall regions performance is maintained and supported at all times.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent commercial awareness, with a proven track record in a similar role within the contracting or preferably the telecoms market. Strong communication skills, client focus and a flexible approach are also key requirements of the role.
